It’s a great fall weekend for a change as Operations Manager Ronald Wittebols and Social Media Director Evie Keough take a break during their portion of the live broadcast from Charles L. Bowers School Farm. It's Sunday, October 6.

Pete Bowers reveals that the day after he signed WBFH on the air, the station’s first remote was an ox roast from the school farm! And back then, there were no such things as internet remote broadcast equipment and laptop computers; everything was done by phone lines, transformers and audio mixing boards. Bowers goes on to say that he had to order those phone lines to terminate in the root cellar of the barn that still stands today, several hundred feet from the visitor center where they are originating this broadcast.
